Roca is in the process of developing 10 different business lines to help the young people they serve train and obtain jobs.

Please bring your "lessons learned" in the process of starting, growing or closing your social enterprise. Learning from each other is an invaluable way to help our enterprises grow -- or avoid pitfalls along the way.

The morning's event will include:

o        Breakfast

o        Tour of Roca

o        Sharing our successes / failures

o        Networking

An Introduction to Roca:

Roca's mission is to help disengaged and disenfranchised young people move out of violence and poverty. Roca can see a different future- a future in which young people leave the streets and gangs to take responsibility for their actions and have jobs. Young immigrant mothers will raise their children in safety and be recognized for their contributions to society. Our communities will have the ability to keep young people out of harm's way and, in turn, thrive through their participation and leadership.

Most importantly we love and believe in young people. It is our enormous privilege to spend time with them and support them in their efforts to change their lives. Over the next few years we hope to get better at what we do, expand our impact, and be worthy of serving the young people that need our attention.
